Angry Birds is a slingshot video game designed and developed by Finnish video games designer named Jaakko Iisalo from Rovio Entertainment Ltd. who first conceptualized a funny game with a strong character- wingless multi-colored angry birds who will target and destroy the various places and structures where pigs are hiding their eggs on the playground, mountains and in space. As the players advance the steps, they experience some additional birds to be appearing with some exceptional capabilities to make the game more interesting. In some steps, players will have to destroy the hard and tough structure to reach the pigs and it will be difficult task for the angry birds. Besides the premium versions, the company has released several free and equally interesting versions of angry birds. The game is accessible on webOS (hp) app store.

In 2009, the game was first developed for Apple’s iOS and till date more than 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple’s App Store. Later, Rovio made it available for Android powered Smartphones as well as personal computers. In September 2010, according to American global entertainment (IGN) Angry Birds was the fourth best iPhone game of all time. In 2011, the game was the winner of “App of the Year” and the “Best Game App” at the UK Appy Awards.
According to Business Insiders, as of March, the total downloads of Rovio’s Angry Birds game crossed 600 million mark and is expected to become the biggest Mobile App Success in history.
