S. Daniel Abraham

S. Daniel Abraham, a leading American business tycoon, was born in Long Beach, New York. His contribution is significant in diet food and Pharmaceutical business. In 1947, he purchased Thompson Medical Company after returning from his infantry service in US Army in Europe during World War II. Soon, Thompson Medical Company became big with single Pharmaceutical product with annual sales exceeding $5000. In 1970, he founded Slim-Fast beverage which successfully drew worldwide attention.

He has strong ties with Israel. He, with Congressman Wayne Owens, travelled many places Saudi Arabia, Jordon, Israel and Egypt. Later in 1989, with they unitedly established Center for Middle East Peace & Economic Cooperation

He has donated to the parties such as Clinton Foundation and Democratic Party and in 2000 he has contributed $1.5 million to the national parties. He promotes Middle East peace, broad range of educational opportunities and bettering health care.
